THIS HOUSE at the corner of Main Street and Wave Avenue was tastefully illuminated for the holidays back in 1947. At the time, it was owned by Albert Lane, a prominent local automobile dealer. Built about 1930, this lakeside colonial style home looks much the same today as it did when this photo was taken

AG won’t review Open Meeting Law complaint

WAKEFIELD — The Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General has declined to review an Open Meeting Law complaint related to Town Meeting filed earlier this year by Scot McCauley of Walden Road. 

Assistant Attorney General Carrie Benedon responded to McCauley’s complaint in a Dec. 17, 2024 letter.

Solect Energy awarded contract for Galvin solar project
