PHOTO: WEF helps Dolbeare STEM programs

CONGRATULATIONS TO Shauna Galante and the Dolbeare Elementary School PTO. Wakefield Educational Foundation (WEF) awarded her funding to financially support two STEM programs from High Touch High Tech of New England. Dolbeare grade one students participated in the “Weather Or Not” program, which focused on weather systems and discussed the properties of air and air pressure. Dolbeare grade two students participated in “Dig It”, a program that studies the rock cycle and geology. Students learned about gems, rocks and minerals and where they come from. Pictured are High Touch High Tech scientist Judy Kearney (aka Jupiter Judy), Maura Barrett, Brendan Pritchard, Charlie Richter, Patrick Leahy, Kate DeCourcy, Shauna Galante and grade 1 teacher Courtney Leahy.
