BOSTON COLLEGE Eagle freshman Ian Ritchie recently competed in his first Div. 1 collegiate track and field meet at the Boston University Opener. He ran the 1000 meters in a new personal best time of 2:34 placing sixth. Ritchie is the Wakefield Memorial High School 800 meter school record holder and Middlesex League All-Star. He is also part of the 4x400 and 4x800 meter school record breaking teams.

THE WBA Boys' Fifth/Sixth Grade basketball team, sponsored by Dockside and its coach D.J. Cook, attended the Northeastern men’s college basketball game vs. the Harvard Crimson on Dec. 2 at Matthews Arena, nicknamed the Doghouse. Recently, Northeastern defeated 15th-ranked Miami with a buzzer beater. The WBA players played a scrimmage at halftime after the banner raising ceremony. The team got to meet Paws, the NU mascot, and have a private autograph session with the entire Northeastern team.
