AMESBURY — Charlotte Connolly, 94, formerly of Lynn, Wakefield and Stoneham, died on Wednesday, Dec. 24, at the Amesbury Village Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center.
Born in Lynn on Jan. 11, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Owen and Charlotte (Durgan) Dougherty.
Mrs. Connolly was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1937. She was an active member of the Bear Hill Country Club in Stoneham.
Mrs. Connolly was the wife of the late John Connolly. She is survived by her son John Connolly and his wife Catherine A. of Newburyport, her daughter Patricia Faino and her husband John of Mesa, Ariz. and her brother Frederick Dougherty of Middleton. Mrs. Connolly is also survived by her six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her two brothers, William and Joseph Dougherty and her three sisters: Marion Conway, Ruth Helpard and Ester Langlois.
A funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield at noon. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.
