Florist was former resident of town

GROTON – Christina L. Hardy, 41, died at Winchester Hospital on Tuesday, Feb. 3 after a heart infection from a long illness.

Christina was born on June 14, 1973 in Framingham. She lived in Natick, North Reading, Florida, Haverhill, Connecticut, Maine and New Hampshire. She worked as a florist and a gardener and was a lover of animals. She had an interest in ancient Egyptian culture and beliefs. Growing up, she wanted to be either a disco dancer or a geologist.

She is survived by her father, William L. Hardy, her sister Deborah Santoro, her stepbrother Paul Dalpe along with several uncles, cousins, nieces and nephew. She is also survived by her ex-husband and childhood sweetheart, Michael Pacheco, among the many friends and relatives who miss her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Rapoport, her beloved dog, Diana, and her cat, Achilles.

There will be a service for Christina on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. at First Parish Church at 1 Powderhouse Rd. in Groton.
