DPW Week of Monday, December 30th:

·        Public Works offices at the City Yard will be open Monday, December 30^th 7am to 4pm, Tuesday, December 31^st 7am to noon, Thursday January 2^nd and Friday January 3^rd 7am to 4pm. The offices will be closed on Wednesday, January 1^st.

·        The DPW Recycling Facility will be open Monday, December 30^th from 7am to 2:45pm, Tuesday, December 31^st 7am to 11:45pm, Thursday January 2^nd and Friday January 3^rd 7am to 2:45pm. The Recycling Facility will be closed on Wednesday, January 1^st.

·        Monday, December 30^th and Tuesday, December 31^st curbside trash and recycling collection will be on schedule; Wednesday, January 1^st there will be no collection; therefore Wednesday’s collection will be Thursday; Thursday will be collection will on Friday; Friday will be collected on Saturday.

·        The DPW Facility will be open on Saturday, January 4, 2020, from 8am to 11:45 a.m. for a Saturday drop off event hosted by the DPW. Items that will be accepted include Christmas Trees, cardboard, Styrofoam, paper, electronics, clothes and other recycling items. This is a great opportunity to clean up and purge from your holiday activities.

·        Curbside collection of Christmas Trees will start on Monday, January 6^th and take place through Friday, January 17^th. Trees should be left curbside on your regularly scheduled collection day. The trees should be free of decorations, lights and without plastic bags.

·        Trees can be dropped off at the Melrose DPW Recycling Facility and/or Mt. Hood upper parking lot starting Thursday, January 3, 2020. The DPW Facility is open during the week from 7:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.; The Mt. Hood drop off area is accessible from dust to dawn.
