Child care assistant
NORTH READING — Claire Ann Miller, 82, of Carver, formerly of Templeton and Arlington, died Friday, Dec. 19, 2014 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth.
Born in Boston on Oct. 24,1932, she was the daughter of the late George F. Miller Sr. and Martha (Karlson) Snider. Claire was raised and attended school in Arlington and was a graduate of Arlington High School, Class of 1951.
Claire worked as a Child Care Assistant. She loved dining out and traveling to the seashore. She was always very kind, caring and sociable.
Family members include her nephews, George F. Miller III of Maryland, Kenneth and Kevin Miller, both of Florida; her niece, Helen Miller of Maryland and her cousin, Mary Manning McLean of Duxbury. She is also survived by several loving and caring friends. She was the sister of the late Robert H. and George F. Miller Jr.
Her funeral was held at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow St., North Reading on Tuesday, Dec. 23 at 11 a.m. Deacons Al Balestracci and Tam Tran, of St. Theresa Church, officiated. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
