A CLASSIC THUNDERBIRD was on display at a previous Residence at Pearl Street Classic Car Show Event. This year’s event is scheduled for Sunday, July 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the campus of The Residence at Pearl Street, 75 Pearl St. in Reading. Event is open to the public and attendees are welcome to enjoy a BBQ while reviewing automotive history.
READING, — The Residence at Pearl Street is holding its annual Classic Car Show Sunday, July 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the campus of The Residence at Pearl Street, 75 Pearl St. in Reading. This is open to the public and attendees are welcome to enjoy a BBQ, to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association, while reviewing automotive history.
“Every year we look forward to our Classic Car Show. The vintage autos bring back a lot of wonderful memories when I was a young adult and kid,” said Doug Warren, sales and marketing director of The Residence at Pearl Street.
On display will be restored classic cars mainly from the 1930s to the 1980s. The public is invited to attend free of charge but an RSVP is suggested by calling 781-944-9200. Any donations go to the Massachusetts Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Visitors who take a tour of the assisted living community, The Residence at Pearl Street, will be entered to win a gift card to the Horseshoe Grill Restaurant in North Reading.
