NORTH READING — The Land Utilization Committee and the North Reading Parks and Recreation Department will present the Hillview Commissioners’ Cup golf tournament on Sunday, Oct. 2.
The Commissioners’ Cup began with 120 golfers 20 years ago and over the years has been a dependable fundraiser for the Hillview Commission’s efforts to improve North Reading’s quality of life by developing such assets as Ipswich River Park and the North Reading High School Arthur J. Kenney Turf Field.
With the community’s help, the golf tournament will help the town continue to build its next vision, a multi–generational community facility at Ipswich River Park.
