WAKEFIELD — Constance “Elaine” Cook, age 83, of Wakefield passed away on June 27, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Boston on September 29, 1937 and was the daughter of the late David and Constance (Littlewood) Flanagan.

Elaine was a graduate of Brookline High School and had been a Wakefield resident for over 50 years. Before her retirement, Elaine was a quality control inspector at Lockheed Martin of Lexington.

After retirement, Elaine enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She had a passion for animals and enjoyed spending time with her beloved pets. Some of her fondest memories were spending time with the family horses KC and Miss Daisy at “Flanagan Farms” where friends and family gathered to watch and ride the horses.

She was the beloved wife of 61 years to Ralph Cook of Wakefield. She was the loving mother of Joyce Roach and her husband John of Rowley, Judy McCormack and her husband John of Billerica and Robert Cook and his wife Debbie of Wakefield. She was the sister of Shirley McDonald and her husband John of Brookline, and Linda Keaveney and her husband Edward of Brookline. She was the grandmother of Michael McCormack, Meghan McCormack, Kelsey Cook and Hunter Cook. She was also the great grandmother of Bentley McCormack.

A funeral service to be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Wednesday, July 7 at 11 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. For guestbook www.mcdonaldfs.com
