PHOENIX, Ariz. — Cora M. Lee, 102, of Phoenix, Ariz. and formerly of Wakefield and Lynn, passed away peacefully on Aug. 14 in Arizona.

She was born on the family farm in Pomeroy, Pa., in August 1913 and was the daughter of the late Wibur and Della (DeVore) Davis. Cora’s family moved to Lynn in the early 1920’s where she attended the Lynn Public Schools.

Cora is predeceased by her late husband of 56 years Chester E. Lee, her eldest son Donald Lee who was of Long Beach, Calif. and also her sister Ethel Eldridge who was of Lynn. She was the devoted mother of her surviving sons William of Phoenix, Ariz. and Chester of Bonita Springs, Fla. She was also the loving grandmother of 10, great-grandmother of nine and great-great-grandmother of four.

She was a very talented and creative quilt maker during her retirement years and enjoyed her volunteer work with the Wakefield Women’s Club.

Funeral services and interment were private.

Arrangements were in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home.
