The operator of an SUV involved in an accident with a postal delivery vehicle on Monday was incorrectly identified in the police log published in today’s Transcript.
The operator of the 2003 Honda CRV was John Sabbia of North Reading, not Heather Odum. Sabbia’s vehicle sustained heavy front end damage in the crash on Winter Street at Olde Farm Lane after it went through a picket fence and struck a tree on the passenger side. No injuries were reported.
According to police, both vehicles were traveling east on Winter Street. Sabbia was issued a citation by police for a marked lanes violation.
