A woman of many interests

 

Ford-obit_webLYNNFIELD — Debra L. (Colclough) Ford, 60, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 18.

“Deb,” born on Nov. 13, 1954, was raised in Arlington and graduated from Arlington High School, class of 1972. She was the beloved wife of Christopher T. Ford and the loving mother of Ashley and Casey Ford of Lynnfield. She was the daughter of the late Francis and Joan (Lee) Colclough, sister of Sharon Gibson and her husband Stephen of Billerica and Tracy Colclough and his wife Simonne of Arlington. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Most of all, Deb cherished time spent laughing with friends and family, gourmet cooking, entertaining and tending to her plants. She could frequently be found at the Garden cheering on the Bruins, taking in a movie or relaxing on the deck of her beach house in Kennebunk, Maine.

Visiting hours were on Thursday, Jan. 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 West Foster St., Melrose. The funeral from the Gately Funeral Home was on Friday, Jan. 23, at 8 a.m., follow by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Church, Herbert Street, Melrose at 9 a.m. Burial followed at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
