WAKEFIELD — Dianne M. Wood, 60, of Wakefield died Sunday, March 27, in Boston after a brief illness.
She was born in Melrose on May 31, 1955 and was the daughter of the late Victor M. and Antoinette (Orsini) Wood.
Dianne was a lifelong Wakefield resident and graduate of Wakefield High School Class of 1973. She was employed by Analogic Devices of Peabody for more than 30 years and had recently worked for Café Capri of Reading.
Dianne is survived by her siblings, Richard, Robert and John Wood, all of Wakefield, Steven Wood of Stoneham, William Wood of Florida, Donna Wood of New Hampshire and Carol Murphy of Wisconsin. She is predeceased by her brother Victor Wood and her sister Debra Welch. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins and also her longtime companion Stephen Ramocki.
Her funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield, on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 4 p.m. Private interment will be held at Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
