LOWELL — Donald E. Sylvester, 39, of Lowell, unexpectedly passed following a brief illness on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Melissa (Bossi) Sylvester and the cherished son of Donald and Rose (Dube) Sylvester of Lowell. He was the loving father of Gabriella, Anthony, Donald, Britney, Olivia and Gianna Sylvester of Lowell, and Ashley and Amanda Poland of Burlington. He was the adored brother of Jeanne, Leo, Theresa, Rose and Rita, all of Lowell. Donald was also a dear son-in-law to John and Dodie Bossi of Lynnfield and brother-in-law to Philip, Jamie, and John Jr. Bossi of Lynnfield. In addition to these family members, Donald is also survived by his godchild, Grace Christian. Relatives and friends attended Donald’s life celebration in the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home, 327 Hildreth St., Lowell on Thursday, May 21. His funeral Mass was celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church. Burial took place in Westlawn II Cemetery.
