MALDEN — Donna R. (Wedge) Murray, 63, of Malden, died at the Massachusetts General Hospital on Feb. 22, 2017.

Donna was born and raised in Somerville and moved to Malden at the age of 12. She was a graduate of Malden High School Class of 1972, and resided in Malden for the past 51 years. Donna worked as an administrative assistant for the Registry of Motor Vehicles for over 30 years before her retirement. She was a very hard worker and enjoyed cooking and shopping. Donna loved to coordinate and plan family functions and holiday parties. She was the “best mother you could ask for” and was always there for everyone.

Donna was the beloved wife of Paul F. Murray for over 40 years. She was the loving mother of Paul R. Murray of Malden; and Kimberly J. Murray of Florida. She was the caring daughter of the late Robert and Joan (Stevens) Wedge. She was the cherished grandmother of Ashlyn, Sydney, John David, Maiselie and Leland. She was the great grandmother of Daisy Mae. She was the devoted sister of Sharon Brancato and her husband Joseph of Newburyport; Robert G. Wedge and his wife Sharon of Everett; and the late Stephen R. Wedge. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
