Touched many lives, will be sorely missed

Donna-Lynch-Obit-webNORTH READING — Donna T. (Dario) Lynch, 73, of North Reading and formerly of Woburn, died Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Exeter Hospital in Exeter, N.H., surrounded by her family.

Born in Brookline on Aug. 8, 1941, she was the daughter of the late James C. Sr. and Carmen (Jodice) Dario. She was a graduate of Mary Cliff Academy. Donna had been a resident of North Reading for the past 12 years and a member of St. Theresa Church. She was an amazing mother and grandmother.

When people met her for the first time they knew they had made a new friend. She made it a point to talk to them and asked about their families. She also loved to talk about her children and grandchildren. She always shared her love of cooking and baking for others. Not a day went by that she wasn’t in the kitchen, baking something for family and friends. She enjoyed watching cooking shows to get new recipes.

For years she lived across the street from the Fire Station and she couldn’t have felt safer. To show them how she felt she would cook and bake for them as much as she could. They welcomed her with open arms.

Donna touched so many lives and she will be sorely missed by so many people.

Family members include her loving sons, Tim Lynch and his wife Renee of Newark, Del., Chris Lynch and his wife Lynn of Kingston, N.H.; her daughter Cheryl Douglas and her husband Jonathan of Royersford, Pa.; her sister Deanne Sferrino and her husband Vincent of Burlington; her late brother James C. Dario Jr. (Jackie); eight grandchildren, Brian Lynch and his wife Danielle, Stephen Lynch, Kevin Lynch, Jordan and Dana Douglas, Brennan and Danielle Nichols.
