WAKEFIELD — Doris P. Rufo, 91, of Wakefield died Wednesday, Dec. 16, at her home.
Born in Wakefield on Sept. 2, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Harry E. and Mildred (Mellett) Bishop.
Mrs. Rufo was a lifelong Wakefield resident and graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1943. She had been a member
of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Mrs. Rufo had a great love for her dogs.
She was the wife of the late Henry A. Rufo. She was the sister of Stephen L. Bishop and his wife Jane of Reading and Augusta, Maine as well as the late Lois E. Drimon and Beverly J. Bishop. She was the niece of the late Alfred H. Mellett. She leaves behind many nieces and a nephew and her dear friends, Ruth Mailhot and Chris Oneschuk.
Her funeral service will be held in the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 5 Bryant St., Wakefield on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
