Dentist practiced in Revere

LYNNFIELD — Dr. Ronald A. Buonfiglio, DMD, of Lynnfield, formerly of Revere, passed away on Jan. 16.
Dr. Buonfiglio was the beloved husband of Irma (Statuto). He was the devoted father of David Buonfiglio and his wife Wendy of Plymouth, Minn.; Linda Mellen and her husband Christopher of Lynnfield, and the late Ronald A. Buonfiglio Jr. He was the loving son of the late Pasquale and Theresa (Discenza) Buonfiglio. He was the dear brother of Richard Buonfiglio of Florida, Patricia Fiore and her husband Ernest of Revere, Linda Villiotte and her husband Richard of Topsfield and the late Paul N. Buonfiglio. He was the brother-in-law of Marie Buonfiglio of Salem. He was the proud Papa of Christian, Jinny, Jeffrey and Christopher. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dr. Buonfiglio’s funeral was held at the Paul Buonfiglio and Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St., Revere on Wednesday, Jan. 20, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Anthony Church. Visiting hours were held on Tuesday, Jan. 19.
Dr. Buonfiglio was a graduate of Revere High School Class of 1954, Boston University Class of 1958 and Tufts Dental School Class of 1963. He practiced dentistry in Revere for over 50 years, was a proud member of MENSA and was a former commodore of the Orient Heights Yacht Club.
