A NARROW concrete divider installed at the head of Lake Quannapowitt will soon have deflectors, a requirement of the Zoning Board of Appeals. Cumberland Farms installed the divider, which has caused some confusion to drivers and pedestrians and on Friday an orange barrel was placed there by the Department of Public Works. DPW Director Richard Stinson said work on the divider should be completed by the end of this week. Until then, he is reminding pedestrians to use the crosswalk when crossing Main Street.
