WAKEFIELD — Earl W. Sheaff, 67, of Wakefield, passed away at his home on Friday, Jan. 30.
The son of the late Robert C. and E. Arlena (Wall) Sheaff Sr., Earl was born in Norwalk, Conn on Jan. 14, 1948. He was raised in Wakefield and resided most of his life in Wakefield. He was a graduate of Wakefield schools and Wakefield High School.
Earl worked many jobs, ending his career as a carpenter. He was very active in the First Parish Congregational Church in Wakefield, holding many offices at the church, and was just elected Church Moderator.
Earl is survived by his brother, Robert C. Sheaff Jr. and his daughters, Julie A. (Sheaff) Tersolo and Nicole L. (Sheaff) Tardy, and son, Jeremy B. Sheaff; his sister, Jeannette Sheaff Radcliff and her daughter, Anita McDougall Pratt and sons, Christopher J. Radcliff and Kyle T. Radcliff; many grand nieces and nephews; his longtime companion, Barbara Flynn, and father figure to Ian McPherson.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to calling hours for Earl from 9 to 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 7, at First Parish Congregational Church, 1 Church St., Wakefield. A service will follow at 10:30 a.m., Saturday.
