Former local resident, Korean War veteran

RAYMOND, NH — Edward G. Davidson of Raymond, NH, formerly of North Reading and Malden, died Feb. 9.
He was the dear friend of the late Madeleine Walsh and the father of Kathleen Grasso and her late husband Tony of Billerica and step–father of Kenneth Walsh and his wife Kathleen of Tewksbury. He was also the brother of Louise Murphy of AZ, the uncle of Suzanne Richer and her husband Ron of Exeter, NH and many nieces and nephews, including “Sophie and Ron, Jr”.
Mr. Davidson was the grandfather of Tanya Carlyle and her husband Eric of Westford, Janine Elliott and her husband Brandon of Coventry, CT and Paul Grasso and his wife Nicole of Groton he is also survived by seven great–grandchildren. Visiting hours were held Sunday, Feb. 14 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Mr. Davidson proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
