Wakefield, MA – Leo Barrett, Jr., Senior Vice President and Chief Loan Officer at Wakefield Co-operative Bank, is pleased to announce the promotion of Elisa Preston to Senior Commercial Loan Assistant.
Ms. Preston joined the bank in August of last year as Residential & Commercial Loan Processor, and was recently promoted to support the bank’s growing commercial department. She is responsible for commercial loan processing, quality control, and communicating with the bank’s commercial customers and attorneys during the origination process.
“Elisa’s work ethic, experience, and knowledge of the commercial side make her a great asset to the bank and to our customers,” said Barrett. “We are fortunate to have her on our team and look forward to her success as we continue to expand our commercial lending arena.”
Ms. Preston has over nine years of residential and commercial processing experience, most recently with Brookline Bank as a Commercial Lending Assistant and Mortgage Loan Processor, along with positions at TD Bank and Berkshire Property Advisors.
