Willobit-webMELROSE — Ellen D. (Gray) Will, 73, of Melrose, died at her home on July 30, 2017.

Ellen was born in Plymouth, New Hampshire, was raised in Lincoln, New Hampshire. She was a graduate of Cambridge Rindge and Latin in Cambridge. She resided in Concord for several years, and Somerville and Melrose for many years.

Ellen worked for Roger’s Foam Factory in Somerville for several years and the Highland Café in Malden for many years. She loved to read books, play bingo and spending time at Foxwoods Casino. Ellen enjoyed traveling on many cruises to Bermuda, Bahamas, Montreal, Toronto, Nova Scotia, North Conway and Yarmouth on Cape Cod.

Ellen was the beloved wife of Richard T. Will for 55 years. She was the loving mother of Kimberlie Nikou and her husband John of Melrose. She was the caring sister of Maureen Haley and her husband William of Leominster; and the late Mickey Falter. She was the grandmother of Kayla Nikou of Melrose. She was the great grandmother of John Nikou. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be private. Arrangements by the Gately Funeral Home, Melrose. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Ellen Will may be made to the Massachusetts General Hospital in support of lung cancer research.
