Registered nurse for over 40 years

MELROSE — Emily P. (Landrigan) Fallon of Melrose died peacefully at home with her family on November 7 at the age of 69. She was born in Boston on June 16, 1955 to the late Emily (Locke) and Edward Landrigan. Emily was raised in Charlestown and graduated from the St. Francis de Sales School and Charlestown High School. 

Emily worked as a registered nurse for over 40 years at Spaulding Rehab Hospital and several nursing homes in the area. She always looked forward to going camping with her family in New Hampshire and taking her trips to Disney with her work friends. Emily was a loving mother and wife who loved being with her family.

Beloved wife of Robert Fallon of Melrose. Loving mother of Keith Fallon and his wife Lira Mishra of Boxford; as well as proud grandmother of Leyana Fallon, Mark Fallon of Boston, Peter Fallon of Melrose and Kenneth Fallon and his wife Marguerite of Chester, NH. Sister of Edward Landrigan and his wife Jean of ME; Rosemarie Keane and her husband Michael of Charlestown; David Landrigan and his wife Terri of Quincy; and the late John Landrigan.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, November 15 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 16 at St. Mary’s Church, 4 Herbert St., Melrose. Interment to follow the mass at Wyoming Cemetery, 205 Sylvan St., Melrose.
