MELROSE — Eva (Corso) Consolo, 93, of Melrose and formerly of Boston’s West End, died April 27.

Eva was born in Boston on Oct. 18, 1922 to Augustino and Cosima (DiBlasi) Corso. She was raised in the West End of Boston and attended Boston Public Schools.

She was the beloved wife of the late John C. Consolo Sr. She was the loving mother of Marianne D’Amore and her husband Bill of Wakefield, Marguerite Smith of Malden and John C. Consolo Jr. of Melrose. She was the cherished grandmother of Marlowe, Gina, Lauren, Michael and James. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Last surviving sibling of 11.
