Great–grandmother of three

NORTH READING — Florence A. Howard of North Reading, formerly of Saugus and Lynn, died Dec. 4. She was the wife of the late Warren T. Howard and the loving mother of Warren “Buzz” Howard Jr. and his wife Laura of Gloucester, Kathy Scandura and her husband Thomas of North Reading, Dianne Morand and her husband Dr. Richard of Maine, Nancy Casperson and her husband James of Winchendon. She was the sister of Norma Martin of Reading and the late Donald Bastarache, Geneva Tewksbury and Freda Sullivan. Florence was the cherished grandmother of six grandchildren, one late granddaughter and three great–grandchildren.
Relatives are invited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., Saugus, on Thursday 4–8 p.m. A funeral will be held from the funeral home on Friday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Margaret Church, 431 Lincoln Ave., Saugus at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Huntington’s Disease Society of America, 6 Boston Rd., Suite 203A, Chelmsford MA 01824. Interment Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
