READING — Florence “Yvonne” Jacquard, age 83 of Reading, died on Friday, May 21 at the Bear Hill Nursing Home.
Yvonne was born in Wakefield on January 4, 1938 and was the daughter of the late John and Estelle Muise.
She was raised in Reading and was a graduate of Reading High School. She traveled the world with her husband when he served in the United States Air Force. She was a longtime and well-known employee at The Savings Bank of Wakefield and later with Eastern Bank in Wakefield.
Yvonne was the beloved wife of Andy Jacquard. She was the loving mother of David A. Jacquard of Wakefield and his late wife Lisa; Denise A. Jacquard of New Hampshire; and John C. Jacquard of Reading. She was the sister of the late Clarence Meuse, Ernest Muise and Adolph Muise. She was the aunt of Karen Winter of Reading. She was the cherished grandmother of Andrew, Jenny, Brittany and Nicole. She is also survived by her eight great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery.
