Fuccilloobit-webWAKEFIELD — Florence (Perrone) Martino Fuccillo, 90, of Wakefield, peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 8, at the Wakefield Care & Rehabilitation Center in Wakefield.
She was the beloved wife of the late Benjamin M. Fuccillo and the late David Martino.
Born on November 17, 1926 in Wakefield, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Susan Perrone.
A graduate of Wakefield High School, she worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Lyons Associates before retiring.
Florence was a resident of Wakefield, MA, Orlando, FL, and Saugus, MA. She was a warm and caring mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend, who loved to play cards with everyone, especially her friends at Harts Hill.
She was the loving mother of Susan Ivester of North Reading; Judith Martino of Newbury; Anthony and Helen Martino of Wakefield; and the late David Martino, Jr. Florence was the dear step-mother of Margi and Stephen Dennis of Saugus; Tony Fuccillo of Provincetown; Jeanne and Brian Chapman of Boxford; Roberta and Richard Hemmerdinger of Rowley; and Christine LaGrassa of Saugus. She was the adoring grandmother of sixteen grandchildren, and was the sister of Phil Perrone of Crystal, FL; Augustus Perrone of Wakefield; the late Dorothy Medley, the late Ernest DeMartinis, and the late Edmond DeMartinis.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Mass in celebration of her life on Saturday, June 17, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield with Rev. Vincent J. Gianni officiating.
