LYNNFIELD — The Lynnfield Board of Health will hold a special  Children’s Flu Clinic on Monday, Oct. 26 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Town Hall, 55 Summer St.

The Children’s Flu Clinic is open to all children ages 3 and older. Both residents and non-residents are welcome. Flumist, which is a nasal spray, will be available.

Those receiving flu vaccine should have no allergies to eggs or egg products and no history of Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS).

Most health insurance is accepted. Participants are asked to please bring all insurance cards with them to the clinic. If a particular insurance is not accepted, a $20 fee is charged to receive the vaccine.

Additional clinics hosted by the Board of Health will be announced as the dates are confirmed. About 170 people attend the first Flu Clinic of the season held at the Senior Center earlier this month according to Sandy Wilson, RN, the town’s public health nurse.
