WAKEFIELD — Frances K. Lawrence, 80, of Wakefield, died on Sunday, September 10 at the Winchester Hospital.

Born in Natick on February 21, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Lizotte) Kane.

Mrs. Lawrence was a graduate of Wayland High School, Class of 1953 and Framingham State College, Class of 1957. She had retired as an accountant from the Xenon Corporation in Woburn and had also worked at Winchester Hospital for over 30 years as a dietician.

Mrs. Lawrence was the wife of the late Leroy Lawrence. She is survived by her two brothers; Richard Kane and his wife Cheryl and John Kane all of Wayland and her two sisters’ Ann Marie Welch and her husband Jim of Bristol, RI and Barbara Watts of Wayland. Mrs. Lawrence is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 11a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Interment will be at St. Zepherins Cemetery in Wayland.
