MELROSE — Frank P. Limone, 67, died at MelroseWakefield Hospital on Nov. 30, 2020.

Frank was born in Boston, on March 11, 1953, to the late Joseph and Laura (Apruzzese) Limone.

He was raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1971.

A lifelong resident of Melrose, Frank enjoyed spending time at the family summer home on Long Beach in Rockport. Mr. Limone worked for the MBTA as a train operator on the Orange Line for many years. He enjoyed cars, boating and loved going out to eat with family and friends. In his later years, he was well known for driving his golf cart or scooter all around downtown Melrose.

Frank is survived by his brother Peter Limone and (late wife Carol), Nina McCarthy and her husband William, and his longtime companion Lauren Temples. He was the uncle of Judi Limone Hayes and her husband Brian and Jessica McCarthy. Great uncle of Kyle and Anna Hayes. Also survived by numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery on Monday, Dec. 7, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
