LYNNFIELD — The Friends of the Lynnfield Library is holding a Pop Up Book Sale on Saturday, March 2 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lynnfield Public Library.

“The Friends are so grateful for all our book donations,” Friends of Lynnfield Library member Jenna Tecci stated in a press release. “As a result of so many donations, we have a vast selection of used books in excellent condition and decided to have a Pop Up Sale before our big Spring Book Sale. If you are looking for children’s books, this is the place to find them. But don’t worry, we also have plenty of adult book options. Children’s books are only $1 and adult books are $3.

The Friend’s Book Sale is a valuable asset to not only the library, but the community as it is the nonprofit’s biggest fundraiser. The Friends of the Library funds the discounted museum passes and two-thirds of the library programming, which includes adult yoga, Bill Sano lectures and workshops and activities for children, teens and adults. The Friends also support the Summer Reading program, its kickoff and prizes.

Cash, Venmo, checks and Paypal are accepted.

“Join us at the book sale to find books at prices that can’t be beat while also supporting your community,” said Tecci. “If you would like to donate books, we are still collecting. Please find our guidelines for donations at foll.org/book-sale.”
