MALDEN — Gerald F. Foley Jr., 56, of Malden, formerly of Wakefield, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
The son of the late Gerald F. and Hazel (Cunningham) Foley Sr., Gerald was born in Winchester on Nov. 30, 1957. He was educated in Wakefield schools. He was employed as a maintenance man for the former Hotel Madison in Boston and later for Bank of America in Boston.
At present, he resided in Malden and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #13966 of Malden, where he was very active.
Gerald is survived by two brothers, Edward M. Foley of Wakefield and John K. Foley of Reading; a sister, Renee M. Johnson and brother-in-law, Parker Johnson of Waltham, and the Boodry cousins of Wakefield and Foley cousins of Billerica.
Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral Mass to be held Friday, Nov. 21, at 12:30 p.m. in St. Joseph Church, Albion Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield.
At the request of the family, there are no calling hours.
