The North Reading High School girls’ varsity tennis team enters the MIAA state tourney with a great deal of momentum, with a 15–1 record and the Kinney Division crown in the Cape Ann League. It’s the girls’ first CAL title since 1974. This season the girls swept eight of their matches under Head Coach Matt Finn.
The Lady Hornets are the Number 3 seed in the North Sectional quarterfinals and were preparing to take on the Austin Prep Cougars on Wednesday, June 10, at the Lynnfield Middle School. Go, Lady Hornets!
