WAKEFIELD — The Hartshorne House Board of Directors is pleased to announce its first ever (and hopefully annual) ice cream social to be held on the grounds of the historic house at 41 Church St. in Wakefield on the shores of beautiful Lake Quannapowitt.
Save the date of Wednesday, Aug. 5, for this tasty event starting at 6 p.m. and ending when the ice cream runs out.
Delicious home made ice cream has been generously donated by Meletharb’s Ice Cream of Wakefield. Come and make your own sundae. Costs will be $3 for an ice cream sundae.
There may even be some entertainment so be sure you come early and bring the whole family.
All money raised will go entirely toward the upkeep and maintenance of Wakefield’s oldest building. Also make sure you follow the progress of the Harthshorne House as it gets a fresh coat of paint this month.
