National Guard veteran, machinist

herbert-peach-webNORTH READING – Herbert A. Peach, 87, of North Reading, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Winchester Hospital.

Born in Chelsea, MA on July 11,1929, he was the son of the late August and Mildred (Jillette) Peach. Herb served in the U.S. Army National Guard, from 1950 to 1955 and he worked as a machinist for many years.

Family members include his loving wife of 65 years, Gloria L. (Frederick) Peach; sons, John Peach of Millis and Herbert J. Peach of Pepperell; his daughter, Linda Fitzgerald of North Andover, brothers, John Peach of Wakefield and George Peach of Washington, D.C.; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading on Friday, May 19 at 10 AM. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 8:45 to 9:45 AM. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in North Reading.
