WAKEFIELD — Horace Seldon lived an impactful life.

He passed away with his family at his home in Wakefield on August 17. He was more than 93 years 9 months old, born November 1, 1923.

A celebration of his life will be held in conjunction with the Women’s March of Courage to honor his beliefs.

The celebration will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at 3 p.m., at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, 138 Tremont St., Boston.

He enjoyed the love of many, many “children.” He is survived by two sons, Dave (Debbie) of Nashville, TN; and Gary (shel Ball) of Greenfield, MA; niece Nancy (Wick) Hoffman of Atkinson, NH; grandchildren Emily (John) Seward of Wakefield, MA; Michael Worthley-Seldon of Nashville, TN; Corey Ann (Baubak Askari) of Dallas, TX; Aaron (Mallory Gregg) of Nashville, TN; and great-grandchildren Emma and Owen Seward of Wakefield, MA.

He was preceded in death by parents Newman and Alice; wife Sylvia Lushbough; siblings Beatrice (late Arthur) Jenkins, Lucile (late Clifford) Cusson, Foss and Richard.
