Congratulations to the Hornets of the Week: Ali Grasso, Lauren Sullivan, Will Taylor and the boys’ varsity indoor track team. Ali and Lauren, both senior captains on the girls’ varsity basketball team, had huge contributions to their victory over league foe Masconomet last Friday. Ali had 24 points, eight rebounds and four assists while Lauren contributed 14 points, four rebounds and four assists. Will, a junior captain on the boys’ varsity basketball team, had 23 points in North Reading’s 77-59 victory over Masconomet. Finally a huge shoutout to the North Reading boys’ indoor track for winning the Cape Ann League Meet title on Feb. 4 at the Reggie Lewis Center. Congratulations to Ali, Lauren, Will and NRHS boys’ indoor track. Great week to be a Hornet!
