LYNNFIELD — On June 5, the Huckleberry Hill School PTO will host its eighth annual Golf Fundraiser at the Four Oaks Country Club in Dracut.

The tournament, which will have a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start, will be played in a scramble format. In addition to prizes for the top teams, golfers will be eligible to participate in several other contests, including long-drive, closest to the pin and hole-in-one prizes.

Registration for the tournament will include 18 holes of golf with a cart, lunch, gift bag and the Awards and HHS PTO Auction dinner at the Four Oaks Country Club. If players register before April 10, the cost is $150 per player. After April 10, the cost is $160 per player. The deadline to register to golf in the tournament is May 8, and space is limited.

Non-golfers are also invited to the Awards and HHS PTO Auction dinner at Four Oaks Country Club where, in addition to a great dinner, there will be raffles, and silent and live auctions for many great prizes. The cost for the Awards/HHS PTO Auction dinner only is $40 per person.

The HHS PTO Golf Tournament Committee is seeking business sponsorships for the golf tournament. There are several levels of business sponsorships available, ranging from Hole and Tee sponsorships to the “Gold” and “Silver” sponsorship levels. Gold or Silver sponsors include participation of a foursome to golf in the tournament; business publicity at the tournament and Awards and Auction dinner; swing analysis for the golf foursome with the Four Oaks Country Club Golf Professional Anthony Martinho; and a gift for each member of the foursome. The committee also is seeking local businesses to donate items or gift certificates for the raffle and auctions.

All proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit HHS PTO-sponsored events such as enrichment programs and other school related expenses such as technology purchases and classroom supplies.
