WELLINGTON, Fla. — Isabel J. (Cabral) Linskey, 93, of Wellington, Florida, formerly of Melrose, died at her home on November 25, 2017. Isabel was born in East Boston, raised in Somerville and was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy in Boston and went on to earn her degree from Fisher College in Boston.

She resided in Melrose for 35 years and the past 23 years in Florida. Isabel was a founding member of the Church of the Incarnation in Melrose and enjoyed baking and cooking. She loved to travel and enjoyed going on cruises and spending time at the summer home in Maidstone Lake, Vermont and Little Ossipee Lake in North Waterboro, Maine.

Isabel was the beloved wife of Donald G. Linskey for 64 years. Loving mother of Margaret Eaton and her husband Kevin of South Easton, Michael Linskey and his wife Shari of Boxford, James Linskey and his wife Patricia of Burlington, John Linskey and his wife Joanne of Tewksbury, Mary Ann Linskey of Hilton Head, S.C. and Edward Linskey and his wife Dianna of Holbrook. Cherished grandmother of Jimmy, Kevin II, Colleen, Chris, Andrew, Megan, Bobby, Mat, Katie, Michael, Mark, Kellie and Stacy. Great grandmother of Kevin III, Carter, Brady, Shannon, JP, Cassidy, Colin, Charlotte, Nolan, Manuel Jr. and Cole. Caring sister of the late Edward and George Cabral. Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visiting hours were held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Thursday, Nov. 30.  Procession from the Gately Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 1, at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Church of the Incarnation, 425 Upham St., Melrose at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
