CORONA, Calif. — James P. Russo, 70, of Corona, California passed away on Friday, February 3, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Jimmy was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and brother.
He had a love for life and loved spending time with his family.
Jimmy was born on June 15, 1945, son of the late James and Clara Russo of Wakefield. Jimmy was raised in Wakefield and graduated from Wakefield Memorial High School, Class of 1964.
He was a member of the West Side Social Club and enjoyed planning many Fourth of July
parades in Wakefield.
Jimmy was the beloved husband of Maria Russo and a devoted father of John Russo, Julie Russo, JJ Russo and Patrick Russo. He was a loving Papa to his grandchildren Evelyn Russo, Mercedes Russo, Anthony Russo, Christian Sanchez, James Russo and Aleah Russo. He was the the loving brother of Sally Malonson and her late husband Paul. He was the uncle of Kimberly and Kathy Malonson of Wakefield.
He was also an exceptional father and grandfather. He was truly loved.
Services will be held at Forest Lawn in Cypress, California.
