LYNN — John Matthew Brissette, 54, of Lynn, formerly of Melrose, died surrounded by family and friends on March 21 after a long illness.
John was raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School in 1980 and attended St. Michael’s College in Vermont. John was the beloved son of Nancy (Ryder) Brissette and the late David Brissette. He was the caring brother of Suzanne and Vince Doria; Marianne and John Parker; Julianne and Ron Porter; Stephen and Roni Brissette; Joseph Brissette and Christianne and Peter Chetkin. He was the proud and much loved uncle of 17 nieces and nephews. John will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
