Ledonneobit-webSTONEHAM — Judy Ledonne passed away peacefully at her condo in Stoneham, Jan. 2, 2016. She was 78 years old. She was a graduated of Lynn Classical High school, class of 1955.

Judy was one of those people who did everything well. She received a nursing scholarship from Salem Hospital School of Nursing where she graduated with high honors as a registered nurse. She worked at the Salem and Malden hospitals for 20 years. In 1975, Judy decided to retire from nursing. Judy was a natural seamstress. She spent countless hours in the basement making custom shades and drapes. Her passion led her to open up her own business called Shades-A-Wow where she sold to businesses and homes. Later, Judy took an interest in antiques. She decided to pursue a career as an antique dealer. She sold her antiques at Old Town Antiques Co-op in Marblehead for many years. Finally, she turned her talents to Fabric Corner in Arlington as an Interior Decorator, until she retired. There wasn’t anything she couldn’t do.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years Richard Ledonne of Stoneham. Her sons William and David of Lynn, her daughter Laura Beede of Danvers and her husband Jason, and her grandson Jackson Beede.

Funeral services will be private.
