Senior forward the lone Warrior honored in Freedom division

WAKEFIELD — The Middlesex League girls’ hockey coaches met recently to make this year’s all-star selections in both the Freedom and Liberty divisions.

For the Wakefield Memorial High girls’ hockey team, it had one all-star named. Senior forward Julianne Bourque was the lone Warrior honored.

M.L. Freedom division champion Burlington led the way with three all-star selections while Watertown had two along with the league’s MVP. Wakefield, Melrose, Stoneham and Wilmington each had one all-star selected to the nine player squad.

In the M.L. Liberty division, Arlington, Reading and Woburn led the way with two all-stars each chosen. Belmont, Lexington and Winchester each had one all-star named to the nine player team. Winchester also had the league’s MVP.
