MELROSE — June E. (Grover) Constantino Noel, 74, passed away at the Atrium in Danvers on Dec. 19.
June was born in Melrose on June 7, 1940 to the late John E. and Lily (Nelsson) Grover, was raised in Melrose and was a lifelong resident.
June worked for many years in the food service department at the Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational School in Wakefield and had previously worked in food service at Northeastern University. She was a former member of the First Lutheran Church in Malden, was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the VFW Harold O. Young Post #2394 in Melrose.
June was the wife of Frank Noel. She was the mother of Paula Coburn and her husband David of Maine, Peter R. Constantino Jr. and his wife Robin of New Hampshire, Pamela Wilson and her husband Doug of Lynn, Phillip Constantino and his wife Phyllis of North Carolina, Patricia Dickeson and her husband Ronald of New Hampshire, Paul Constantino and his wife Maureen of Saugus. She was the wife of the late Peter R. Constantino. She was the sister of Harold Tengberg and his wife Mary of Nevada, Paul Grover and his wife Ann of Melrose, the late James Grover and his surviving wife Joan of Wakefield and predeceased by nine other siblings. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 West Foster St., Melrose, on Monday, Dec. 22, from 4 to 8 p.m., followed by a funeral service on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
Burial at Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.
