Obit-Loud-webBURLINGTON — Katherine “Kitty” A. Loud, 68, of Belmont, N.H., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 28, at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington surrounded by her husband and children.

She was born on June 1, 1946 in Lynn to the late John F. and Muriel (McGee) Sullivan.

Kitty was employed by Velcro USA for 18 years before retiring. After retiring, she spent 20 years helping to raise her grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Kitty was also pre-deceased by her “Irish Twin” Jack Sullivan who died in 2013.

Surviving members of her family include her loving husband of 48 years, Lewis Loud of Belmont, N.H.; a son and daughter-in-law John and Colette Loud of Bristol, Conn.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Chris Rowell of Greenfield, Lisa and Steven Roth of Manchester, N.H., Michelle and Christopher Goodspeed of Merrimack, N.H. and Patty and Kevin Cotnoir of Belmont, N.H.; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, with another on the way.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

In 2010, Kitty received a live liver donation from her son-in-law Kevin Cotnoir, giving her the gift of four more years of life.
