PALM CITY, FLA. — Katherine A. (Ledbetter) Neumann, 89, of Palm City, Florida, passed away April 25, 2017 surrounded by her family.
Prior to settling in Florida, she lived in Schenectady, N.Y., and Lynnfield and Marblehead, Mass. where she and her husband Michael were avid boaters. Most recently Kay was active in Bridge, Women’s Club, the Red Hats and the Holy Redeemer Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Michael of 69 years, her son, Michael III, and her siblings, James and Ann. Her survivors include her remaining eight children, Dorothy Bousquet (Paul) of Palm City, Florida; Diane Peluso (Phil) of San Marcos, California; Susan Such (Ron) of Camden, Maine; James Neumann of Danvers; Robert Neumann of Whitman; Kevin Neumann (Carol) of Marblehead; Mary Farrelly (Patrick) of Palm Bay, Florida; and Katie Neumann of Stuart, Florida, as well as 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and her siblings, Walter and Sandra.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated April 29, 2017 at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City. A burial service is to be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 14 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield.
