PEABODY — Katherine P. “Kay” (Hefler) Constantine, 97, of Peabody, formerly of Lincoln, died at Brooksby Village in Peabody on Nov. 12, 2017. 

Kay was born and raised in Chelsea and a graduate of Chelsea High School. She resided in Lincoln for 48 years and the past 15 years in Peabody. Kay worked as an Accounting Clerk for Jordan Marsh in Boston and Houghton Mifflin Publishing in Burlington for many years. She was a funny, warm, caring and classy lady and was very proud of her home and always had a fantastic garden. Kay enjoyed traveling to Alaska, Hawaii and Las Vegas.

Kay was the beloved wife of the late Philip J. “Jim” Constantine for 58 years. Caring sister of the late William and Walter Hefler and Thelma Landry. Devoted aunt of Claudia Minors and Pamela Driscoll, both of Arlington, William Hefler of Florida, and Andrea O’Connell of Stoneham.  Sister in law of Judith Constantine of Florida. Dear friend of Nick Stavropoulos of Lincoln.

Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Saturday, November 18, from 11-11:45 a.m., followed by a graveside service at Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose at 12:15 p.m.  Relatives and friends invited.
