Kathleen-Connolly-Obit-webNORTH READING— Kathleen “Kay” Elizabeth (Murrin) Connolly of North Reading, formerly of Stoneham and Woburn, passed away on April 13, 2015 at her home. She was 70 years of age. Kathleen was a warm and loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.

Kay was a graduate of Saint Charles High School class of 1962. She then attended Saint Mary’s of the Woods College in Indiana and later graduated from Rittner’s School of Floral Design.

Kay is the beloved wife for 49 years of Joseph Connolly. She is the devoted mother of Jason Connolly and his wife Renee and Eileen Kerr and her husband Shawn. Kay is the cherished grandmother of Madison, Patrick, Kathleen “Kate” and Coleman. She is the loving daughter of the late Edward and Bridget (Walsh) Murrin. Kay is the dear sister of Gladys Emmons, Myra MacDonald, Edward Murrin, Robert Murrin, Anita Dorsey, Shirley Brown and the late Theresa O’Brien and Daniel Murrin. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. Stoneham on Saturday, April 18,  at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass Celebrating Kay’s Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 a.m. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator available. Interment Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Stoneham.
